Welcome to My World

Everyone has a voice; a unique voice that belongs to that single person; a voice that tells a story; a voice that's been somewhere; a voice that is meant to be heard. Through art, a person's unique voice can be expressed and shown to the world.

A lot can be learned from a person's artwork. You are able to discover many things about the person that may not be available by any other means. Without even trying, what the artist produces reflects a part, if not all of who they are. Their experiences, relationships, emotions and thoughts are all fused together to create one style; to create one voice. That voice can travel across the world and through time reaching millions of people, telling of what is deep inside the owner's heart and mind.

How does one speak? I speak through expression. Expressing my ideas, conveying my thoughts, portraying what is deep inside of me. I can tell someone about myself all I want, but there is nothing like experiencing who a person is first hand. There is a whole world inside of me that contains everything that I am and everything that I have ever been. I find this world slowly revealing itself through the art that I create. With a picture, one can tell much more than a story; my art says, “This is who I am.” Piece after piece, a bit more of me is spoken; a small percentage is being received by my peers and people around me. My artwork is a portrait of myself. It is the world inside of me. It is my voice. It is who I am. "This is me."
